November 23, 2009 vital signs

Yes I'm alive, and so is Zim, just, thanks for asking. Round of fixes.

  • Fixed use of UTF8 characters in lists creating persistence problems.
  • Fixed persistence problems with older lists (those created before May 2008) caused by file permissions changes.
  • Fixed a bug in which you could render a todo list uneditable by deleting all the nodes in the list and reloading the list.

January 05, 2008 todo lists

You can now use a specialized 'todo' list template accessible via the 'Go' menu. Your todo list behaves slightly different to the rest of your lists. Firstly it's anchored in one spot (http://zimoutliner.com/list/todo/) so you can bookmark it. Secondly, it's a rolling list, which means if you check off items in the list using the checkboxes, they will be scrubbed from the list the next time you load it up.

The todo list screen is a place to keep your next actions as they come to you and erase them as you get them done. I find it useful to prioritize my next actions in a vertical order on this list.
